Anglican Church of the Redeemer

                                                         What We Believe

                     (1)  We desire to live out the Faith that has been received and carried on by the historic
Christian church  throughout the centuries in ways that engage people in today's  world.

                     (2)  We hold firmly to the central place of Jesus Christ as the Son of God -- that
salvation is found in His sacrificial death and resurrection alone.

                     (3)  We recognize the Bible as the Word of God -- and order our lives by its Truth.

                     (4)  Our belief is summed up in the historical statements such as the Nicene Creed
                            and the Anglican 39 Articles.

                     (5)  We are unified in these essentials of faith (doctrine), but are open to liturgical
                            diversity.

                     (6)  The Anglican Church of the Redeemer exists to glorify God by building up an
alliance of Christian brothers and sisters, planting, nurturing, and serving dynamic
churches in the Anglican tradition, faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ.
